This document can be used by you only to provide satisfactory evidence that your Fisher ultralight meets the maximum cruise speed and stall speed limitations of Part 103. As you can see by the documentation, our aircraft with full finish paint, safety equipment and instruments are under the 254 pound maximum weight limit. It will be your responsibility to make certain that your aircraft weighs less than 254 pounds if you plan to operate it as an ultralight. Along with the enclosed document you will need a statement of your aircraft’s weight signed by an A & P mechanic. A word of caution is in order here, all of our ultralights can be completed at a weight of less than the maximum assuming you follow the plans, don’t add additional structure, too many heavy options or a heavy finish paint job. We suggest that you weigh the aircraft after it is covered and sealed so that you can determine the amount of finish paint and options that can be added to your craft and still remain under 254 pounds.
If you have any questions, please contact your local dealer or our plant.
